A local land baron, kind of a seedy guy. There's a local town off the other side of a ridge along this road that he allegedly routinely terrorizes by capturing and torturing the children of those families unwilling to submit to his rule. He comes off as a total dick.
When the party meets up with Zabeida, he's in a carriage being pulled by two camels. The carriage looks pretty posh, and he's kind of a portly guy. There are a handful of guards--both Human and Mithrendian alike--escorting him. The party can hear the entourage coming before they can see it.

If a creature marked by this power makes an attack that does not include Torane, is within 10 squares of Torane, and hits the creature with the that attack, Torane can, as an immediate reaction, teleport to a square adjacent to that creature, and make a melee basic attack against it
